Trailer:

Cast:
Bill Nighy (Viktor)
Rhona Mitra (Sonja)
Michael Sheen (Lucien)

Director: Patrick Tatopoulos (F/X tech on Godzilla and Independence Day)

Plot
This is a prequel to the previous Underworlds, it traces the origins of the battle between the vampires (Death Dealers) and the werewolf creatures known as lycans who were slaves to the vampires in ancient times.

My Thoughts
Yet another great addition to the franchise, it completed the storyline started in the first Underworld.

Trailer:
http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/fridaythe13th/

Cast:
Derek Mears (Jason)
Jared Padalecki (Clay) / Supernatural
Amanda Righetti (The O.C.)

Producer: Michael Bay (Transformers)

(Plot)
After a group of College friends disappear while camping near Crystal Lake, Clay(Jared Padalecki) turns up to look for his sister who was among the disappeared. Clay's search comes up with nothing except unhelpful neighbors and an arrogant Sherriff until another group of College friends turn up to stay the weekend at their cabin. They soon discover the dark past of Jason and Camp Crystal Lake as the bodies start to stack up.

(My Thoughts)
I think there was a lot of thought put into bringing Jason back for another movie, however some aspects of Jason were changed.

(Plot)
Walt Kowalski (Eastwood) is an Korean War Veteran living in Detroit who never let go of his hate for the Asian race. Kowalski is dragged into a young mans life, Thao(Bee Vang) after he is caught attempting to steal his '72 Gran Torino as part of a gang initiation. Kowalski gains a bond with Thao as they fight to gain their freedom from this local gang.

(My Thoughts)
I waited to see this film to the last possible moment, I regret not seeing this sooner. I talked to a few friends who saw it before me and they said it sucked. To me this is just not the case, although at times it lacked in some aspects.

Push

Trailer:
http://apple.com/trailers/independent/push/

Cast: Dakota Fanning (Flicka)
Chris Evans (Fantastic 4)

(Plot)

There are those with special psychic abilities, such as watchers(Fanning) who can tell the future. Others can kill with just a touch and manipulate thought. There is a secret government agency that tries to enhance these abilities and hunt rouge psychics.

(My Thoughts)
I saw this movie on premiere night and was not overly impressed, it was like a dull X-Men. I believe it was poorly produced and used to fill a box office space.
